The Android paging library is easily the most convoluted API I've worked with in a long time, and when you work on Android that is no easy feat to achieve. #androiddev
It's a complete mystery how to properly use it without Room. This is what's been putting me off using it.

The class naming/structure, the docs, the samples, the concept. It's so much extra code but doesn't actually solve that much. I've removed it from my dependencies now.
