We take a lot of things for granted on Android. For example, DiffUtil. Did you know iOS still has no standard way of doing automatic diffing of lists? There's good 3rd party libraries but at this point UIKit should surely have this, it's such a common dev task.

Android didn't have it until pretty recently. It's not like this is an API 1 feature. There's been plenty of things where Android badly lagged iOS (autosizing text views) until recently. And worse, where Android is a fucking shitshow compared to iOS: hello and screw you IME!
Oh, don't worry - I'll have plenty of "This is so awesome on iOS, but sucks on Android" tweets too
