Before being a parent: all babies are incredibly dumb. After being a parent: your baby can hold her head upright? She's a genius!

Before baby: I'm bored. After baby: I wish I could go back in time and smack the crap out of myself for saying "I'm bored" and not taking advantage of the free time.
I wish I could put "i'm bored time" in a bank so when you wake up at 5 after sleeping for only 3 hours you could tap into that time for much needed sleep
