Both are however in the Hadith, which is the second holy book of Islam.

Second holiest collection* of books. There are dozens of Hadith collections, some mentioning circumcision, some not, and each sect of Islam has a different set of these collections. Regardless, female circumcision always accompanies male circumcision in the hadiths.
-
Fair enough, then if we're going that way we have to say the same of the bible, not that it is a single holy book but a collection of between 24 (Tanakh) and 81(Ethiopian orhtodox), written over centuries by the hands of many different men.
-
The inclusion of circumcision as a requirement in the books of the Tanakh, then declared wrong in the later books of some of the longer collections needs to be stated there.
-
I agree that the Bible is also a collection of books, but the Bible is considered to be divinely inspired just like the Holy Qur'an, whereas the hadith are just collections of the Prophet's ﷺ claimed sayings and doings, some of which are inconsistent with one another.
-
Problem is, most Muslims believe anything said by Muhammad to BE the word of their god, consistent or not, good or evil, anything he said is a command from allah.
