: endlessly and vehemently advocating for the scalping, scraping, and mutilation of a male infant when you are at no risk of genital cutting yourself. Don't listen to pro- women who aren't circumcised.

I understand completely. When my son was born I had to basically fight to prevent the hospital staff from pushing circumcision on my family. I was pissed as hell by the end of that even though we got though it without anything being done to him. They have no right to do that.

I refused to circumcise my son. I was asked several times if I wanted to. I was looked at like I had 3 heads. One day my mother-in-law took my son to what was supposed to be a routine checkup. The doctor then proceeded to perform a 'forced retraction' on my son. 1/4

    Replying to and

"Thery DO NOT cut men to deny them sexual pleasure. Tell the Jewish people that." Here's some modern articles from Chabad saying they do it exactly for that purpose, or to control impulse. Granted, this is just among the Orthodox, but this was common in Judaism not too long ago.

That day you learn that opposition to cutting, crimping and tearing baby penises is misogynistic...

Interesting mental gymnastics. A person who neither has a penis nor is circumcised is attempting to dictate to men the value of their foreskins. But people correcting her are the “mansplainers.” I love the gaslighting going on here.

I want to watch the Netflix 'American Circumcision' documentary, but worried I would find myself agreeing with Joe Rogan on something for the first time ever.

SHOCKER: the lady whining about misogyny had her sons’ private parts cut up to satisfy her Bronze Age superstition. Absolutely no self awareness from these people...

Indeed, the had previously released a policy in which they, too, defended "ritual nicking" of little girls' vulvas on the grounds that this was "much less extensive" than male circumcision and the latter was also not medically necessary ().

Their argument was then picked up by , whose editors argued that, yes, we should allow "minor" FGM to be performed; otherwise, on pain of inconsistency, we might have 2 rethink medically unnecessary male circ, which no one wants to do ().

object be brought anywhere near one's intimate sexual anatomy unless it is *absolutely medically required* & the cutting cannot be delayed to an age of consent without putting one's life in danger. Of course, these same principles apply to medically unnecessary male circumcision

First, there is *literally no form* of FGM, anywhere in the world, that removes the clitoris. The clitoris is a very large, complex organ that is mostly inside the body, like an iceberg, with a very small portion that protrudes outside. To remove it would require major surgery.
