Vadim Yuryev’s Tweets

Last month, we here at Max Tech decided to try an experiment where we see how many sponsorships we can reserve and integrate into our content. We’ve almost fully booked out an ad spot every single day from 9/7 to 9/30. Haven’t gotten much pushback at all, thankfully. Thoughts?

Why is there this glorification of turning down money/sponsor content? People are distracted by TikTok, vertical video, and the dead IG algorithm... when the real poisonous trend is insinuating it's "more honorable" for creators to not be paid for their time, talent, expertise. twitter.com/every_daydad/s…

🔪 Kamera çıkıntılarındaki gidişat hiç iyi değil. Bu video, iPhone 13 Pro Max ile iPhone 14 Pro Max'in karşılaştırması. 🔩13PM'in zaten kalınken 14PM ile iyice garip bir hal almış durumda. ⚡️Camera bump comparison #iPhone13ProMax vs #iPhone14ProMax via @VadimYuryev

i feel like we’re doing unboxings / reviews wrong 🤔 every video is the same. same video, different youtuber. people make videos as if their video is the only video — and everyone is just hearing / seeing the same shit over and over. if you’ve seen one, you’ve seen ‘em all

Incredible review from Geekerwan! Must see for anyone interested in the M2 MacBook Air or Apple vs Windows laptops. The real-world battery life results were absolutely insane! Check it out in the tweet below.

This video is an absolute masterpiece and masterclass in terms of understanding how mobile chips work and what really matters to performance. I would recommend it to ANYONE interested in mobile phone chips. youtu.be/s0ukXDnWlTY Here are some interesting points: 🧵

Moving further, you can see that Apple’s chips are king in terms of efficiency. A14 from 2 years ago still beats out the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 which is finally on a competitive TSMC fab. A15 takes it even further as you can see with the two dots. A16 just came out.

The reason why Snapdragon’s 8+ gen 1 is so much better than the first version is because Qualcomm switched from a Samsung fab to TSMC, that’s literally it! The cores are identical. What a difference!

Yup lol and it’s all because of that dynamic island. Probably satellite features and A16? Pricing too.

Like I mentioned earlier, mainly thermal system improvements could be giving us the multi-core gain on the A16 chip. The A15 was being drastically held back by thermals since Apple capped the clock speeds. With A16, they can simply uncap some performance thanks to cooling.

Apple seems to have added a heck of a lot of Graphite film/padding to the iPhone 14 Pro/Max logic board and chip. I guess this is the new cooling solution Apple briefly mentioned. Any thoughts @VadimYuryev

We’ll probably get a nice upgrade on the 48MP main camera when iOS 17 beta comes around in June. Very happy with the 13 Pro Max and I’m not excited for things to look worse in any scenario. We’ll test it, though!

My takeaway from the iPhone 14 Pro reviews I’ve seen today is that Apple’s insane NR and over-sharpening have gotten worse—not better—with the 48MP shooter and several photos look downright bad. Seems the jump from 12 Pro to 13 Pro was the bigger leap and that’s a disappointment.

Sheesh this is impressive! Must be them taking advantage of the 1hz display alongside A16 improvements. Crazy thing is that the battery itself is slightly smaller this year.

This is what I’m most excited about - 13 Pro Max was 12 hours 16 minutes in Tom’s Guide battery test and now 14 Pro Max is 14 hours 42 minutes 😳 Apple’s extending their already massive lead in terms of battery life

We expected this. The real question is: What's gonna be built on the First-Generation 3nm process? Give me those M2 Pro/Max chips, baby!
