I support 9 months of jail time for any man who gets a woman pregnant when she doesn't want to be. If she dies in childbirth, he should be charged with manslaughter.

I did. You called paedophilia and bestiality consensual. You doubled down on those statements. You’re this not worth taking seriously. Not sure why you’re “poor thing”ing me, though. I’m not being dragged for thinking screwing a dog or a child is consensual.

Usually it’s removes and allows to die. It only kills first when done later - and it’s usually only done later when folks like yourself make it hard for people to get it done earlier.

No, it’s a statistical consequence. And NEVER chosen by people engaged in recreational sex, and NEVER under the control of the parties engaging in sex. If it were, my daughter would be a lot older than she is. It’s certainly a known consequence - but not a chosen one.

Also, you’re not asking for foetuses to have equal rights (which would be absurd anyway - show me the foetus that an vote). You’re asking for special rights - the right to use someone else’s body in a way that would land any born person in jail.

We limit freedom all the time. We don’t intrude on people’s bodies. About the largest intrusion on a person’s body ever required by law is a blood draw (excluding barbaric places with the death penalty - typically conservative, “pro-life” places). Everything else is external.

Does it tell you anything, though, that you seem to have had trouble distinguishing the group “rapey men” from the group “people who want to control how women use their bodies”? Seems like it may be a set-subset relationship to me 🤷‍♂️

Nobody said “expect nothing will happen”. But for the most part, “people not taking precautions” are adults refusing high quality sex ed and ready access to contraceptives for their kids. And rapey men. Most women who receive proper education DO take contraceptive precautions.

No, they don’t. Conception isn’t an act that is under parental control. And it doesn’t matter if you intend to violate my rights - only whether you do.

Um, you realise that a late term abortion is very different to an early one, right? That I’m trying to point out that simple fact to you, along with the fact that most non-emergent late term abortions are the fault of folks like you?

If they’re putting you (or even your property!) at sufficient risk, you absolutely can. Pregnancy puts the woman at existential risk. Every time.

Male suicide is, in large part, a problem with the patriarchal system that expects men to be strong, emotionless, protectors, breadwinners... It’s not really misandry - seems more like a twisted manifestation of male supremacy. And something feminism tends to work to fix.

No, that’s fertilisation. Sex may or may not lead to fertilisation. And regardless, consent to sex is not consent to pregnancy, any more than consent to driving is consent to severe injury in a car accident.

“Almost never” isn’t never. And since abortion kills less women than childbirth, it statistically DOES save lives. It also prevents significant morbidity. And would STILL be moral, as self defence against an intrusion on bodily autonomy, even if NONE of that were true.

No. Two people had sex. A pregnancy was a side effect. The pregnancy might discontinue on its own or she may choose to terminate or not. Her choice. I hope you use a condom each time you have sex to avoid this situation.

If I recall, from discussions with our specialist, a perfectly fertile couple, having sex at the right time, should expect to get pregnant 1 out of every 4-6 cycles (age dependent). That’s a pretty low rate for something that’s apparently deterministically tied to pregnancy!

It’s also irrelevant because most people recognise that killing a fully grown, fully functioning human who’s personhood would never reasonably be questioned is sometimes permissible. The critical question cannot be “is it a person” if it can be OK to kill a person 🤷‍♂️

Complaining about virtue signaling is an instant self-own. They’re telling us they can’t comprehend decency or empathy as, in their mind, the only time people act virtuously is out of self-interest or for show. It’s like a tattoo saying, “I’m a sociopath” across their forehead.

The adults were discussing abortion. You trotted in with such a fundamental (criminal, if acted on) misunderstanding of consent that it seems unreasonable to bother trying to take such a conversation any further.

If by "I won big" you mean getting 2,864,974 LESS votes than your opponent, then sure Biff, you "won"... bigly. In all other countries, "the popular vote" = the vote,
