You are right. There are very committed Stop-Brexit people all over the place. But there’s seemingly only very little movement in polls. Outcome of 2nd ref would still be very uncertain.

Agree 2nd referendum uncertain. But current UK polls are only a reflection of the weakness of the official opposition and not in any way representative of support for Hunt's abhorrent rhetoric.

Agree - very important point. The shift to remain has been without much mainstream media or political support. Had the Labour party strongly opposed the government - as would be usual with an official opposition - the shift would have been bigger and faster.

The most commonly used but incorrect argument. Simply put. A worse evil never justifies a lesser evil. Both should be dealt with. The EU is undemocratic and has been nothing more then a power grab. Dictatorships always start with a promise and false premise of better things.

You have to understand that Mr Hunt doesn't actually know what he's talking about. It's staggering to many of us how he manages to get these top jobs in govt; shows how much of a dearth in talent there is in the @Conservatives.

The trouble is this level of ignorance in J Hunt is pretty much standard across much of the current government. I suspect the adults in the party are maintaining a tactful low profile in the midst of some pretty jingoistic bellicose rhetoric.

It does not say much about private education either. What on earth do they teach them in there? Apparently not history.
