No, it's a loss for freedom - the very thing the Anthem and flag are supposed to stand for and the thing that veterans fight to protect.

I did fight so that you could disrespect the flag, yes I did. But that doesn't mean I like it and I sure as fuck am not going to watch an NFL game where the flag I served for 30 years is being fucking disrespected. I don't have to and I won't.
-
You're really drinking that MAGA koolaid, eh? You still think kneeling disrespects the flag and Anthem. Kneeling is a sign of respect & reverence, just a solemn one. Kaep originally sat, but changed it in order to respect, but still be a visual beacon for his cause.

Every business has the constitutional right to restrict their employees from wearing political hats, clothing, and from having them preach or push an issue. It's a business for the CUSTOMER and employees are paid to do a job.
-
Did I say it was illegal? No. However, being legal doesn't always make something right.
-
I believe it was wrong because they failed to act in accordance with their own NFL rules on the flag in the first place. The only reason they made this move is that people like me left. Most of us are not coming back anyway. The NFL made this move due to loss of revenue/fans.
-
Wrong. Prior rule did not require standing for Anthem

We’re done

If the police are so bad why did the citizens of Baltimore ask for them back after
#blacklivesmatter
ran them off? -
All of the police left Baltimore?
-
Reduced presence in certain neighborhoods
-
But that's not what you said.
-
Hey Cali...Baltimore resident here. None of that shit happened. Just to set the record straight

Morons. This is grounds for an instant lawsuit. In a divisive court battle in 1943, SCOTUS ruled that students do not have to recite or participate in the Pledge of Allegiance. This law is in place today and currently also extends to the National Anthem.pic.twitter.com/H7mAXrM2FL

they don't have to participate. they can stay in the locker room. idk why it's so hard for people to understand that

One might have noticed that “common decency” was not on Mr. Pence’s list of what unites Americans
-
Common decency is respecting the flag that millions died or were maimed under while fighting for our rights. The Flag stands for us. And I stand for the Flag. I also have a right to have my entertainment time free from politics. I will join you at the courthouse to protest.
-
As veterans, we fought for their right to peacefully protest.
