“What If Every Country in the World Had a Nuclear Weapon?” It would be exactly like asking people to wear a mask ‘for others.’ People are not incentivized protect others without direct affect and neither would countries be.

I mean that's flatly not true in either case, the US is quite literally the only country that borked mask wearing on a massive scale, and the insane selfishness displayed by the population likely comes down to American culture and politics promoting it for the last century
