Retailers should be setting up a priority emailing list that customers have to sign up to. The first on that list get dibs on the first drops. Any duplicate orders (similar addresses, names and bank details) should be shut down and if you’ve ordered one b4 you don’t get another.
-
Pre-order again. One per address. Full payment up front. Monitor serial numbers on eBay. It’s really not hard...!

Sony should just take the nvidia approach and only allow up to 2 units per customer.

How can you buy something that's not on sale? Please explain, to my knowledge its passed scalping now and just stock control.

Let me propose a counter argument. Strictly as a business. Why should they stop? It’s their job to sell the units and the scalpers are paying for them. Does it suck for the customer? Sure of course it does. However they’re selling them and that’s what matters
-
They should stop because they are losing money. No one wants to pay double the price for a PS5. They end up sitting on dozins of consoles they cant sell.
