Are you sure it isn't your cords? The cords could be bad or something uzu?

I replaced the cord as soon as I noticed the screen was just black. The card is brand new fresh out the box and had the same issue so it’s the headset. After discussing it with a few people they came to the same conclusion it’s the headset or the lenses

If it's only the lenses that is the problem with your Vive, you could check and look for a HTC Vivve Lens Mod guide. There are plenty people who replace the stock ones with other lenses. Kinda like a trade off but could work for your situation until you get a new headset

I discussed it over with some people and I took a good look and it seems like the screen inside is busted and cracked
