I really wanna know why is policing my clothes like this. How will my shirt impact my flight, for myself, the other passengers or even the pilot? Y’all have a dress code for CUSTOMERS who pay to get on a plane? It’s the constant policing of women’s bodies for me.

Now I do know American do have a business causal dress policy I’ve flown with them and they are very strict about enforcing it.

The same exact airline did this to me, but the gentleman next to me gave me his sweater to put over my cleavage. “this is a family airline” they told me.

This would have set me off. It’s crazy enough that there’s a dress code for passengers, at the very least passengers should be informed beforehand about what they can or cannot wear on the flight as clearly as we are informed about how many bags we can check in
