    Customers who have suffered losses should document those losses and file claims with ; if denies them, complain to . Consumers shouldn't have to bear the brunt of this on top of everything else. Please spread the word!

    Today I’m introducing legislation to force PG&E to become a publicly owned utility. PG&E has failed. It’s failed on safety & reliability. PG&E has forfeited its privilege to operate as an investor-owned monopoly in California. Time for a new approach.

    The California State Senate voted overwhelmingly to approve a new bill that would leave utilities like PG & E on the hook for damages from controlled power outages. That would included lost wages, spoiled food. The bill now moves to Assembly.

    FEMA says it's owed $4 billion from PG&E because of the gov't response to 2015/17/18 wildfires, and it may bill fire victims for some of the money if the issue isn't resolved in PG&E's bankruptcy case:
