So far the talks have been productive and respectful. I’m not here to carry water for him or anyone else but he seems genuinely interested in what the voters shared with me. I am happy to deliver that message on their behalf.

It would be great if he's starting to see the writing on the wall, but I'm not optimistic about it. Glad to hear it went well and you'll keep the conversation open -- it's better to push from the left than do nothing.
