Are intrinsic value as humans should not be judged by the work we do we should have intrinsic value and be able to have access to the basic survival needs without a job that is why I support universal basic income no one deserves to live in poverty without a way out
Up and getting ready for work. Going in today was “optional” but as a hourly worker— it’s not optional for me. We don’t get to makeup the time for yesterday which means a short check next week. The struggle is real but I am blessed to have a job.

Yeah all my employees with less then a year lost a day of pay as well.

I’m a contractor for various staffing agencies that fill positions at law firms. I am never with a firm long enough to get holiday pay or PTO. :(
