Today, the Trump Admin placed a gag rule on Planned Parenthood, stripping the rights to reproductive healthcare for every American. Planned Parenthood, as they should have, rejected the gag rule, and will continue to perform abortions and provide information regarding abortions.
A woman’s right to choose is unequivocally constitutional and the President’s actions are another rejection of our civil rights. This doesn’t only affect women. It also affects anyone seeking viral or cancer screenings, sex education, or gender confirmation treatments too.
This is beyond abortion. It’s about controlling lives to the standards of those who believe they are morally superior. I will #protectourcare in Congress and the right to healthcare will be the last thing America will have to make a compromise on when we oust this President.
