Election reform just took the lead in Seattle!
While we already know that Seattle wants #RankedChoiceVoting, the outcome on Question 1 is too close to call.
After ballots dropped today, we jumped out to a 1,797 vote lead!
In the negative comeback column: Republican Spencer Hutchins has surpassed LD26 Dem candidate Adison Richards after Saturday's drop. He's up 631 votes now. #waleg#waelex
The leads for LD42 Democrats are holding, however. Shewmake's senate race is the closest and she's up nearly 1,000 votes with an estimated 7,500 votes left to count in Whatcom County. #waleg#waelex
The race between Clyde Shavers vs. Rep. Greg Gilday (R) race is shaping up as a nailbiter. Shavers's lead has eroded. He is up just 29 votes now. #waleg#waelex
Similarly in LD26, Pierce has counted faster than Kitsap County, which has an estimated 20,000 remaining to tally. Richards has performed better in Kitsap than Pierce, which is positive for him holding on. #waleg#waelex
