Can we stop using private contractors to build infrastructure and just hire trades people and buy materials to produce what we need. There is plenty of work. Nobody has to make money on this and it ends up costing a lot more in the end because of the old "value engineer".

This is scandalous. I think there should be an independent investigation of the whole shebang. Imagine if there’s a failure of oversight on tiling and escalators, what else did they fail to oversee?
