ICYMI: The cap-and-invest bill (which sets up a cap-and-trade system pricing carbon) passed the senate 25-24 yesterday. Three Democrats (Hasegawa, Lovelett, and Van De Wege) and all the Republicans voted against it. #ClimateAction

Shortly thereafter, the senate passed the Clean Fuels Standard in a 27-20 vote. Sen. Steve Hobbs (44th) was the only Democrat to vote no. The standard would curb transportation emissions (WA's top source) significantly. #HB1091 #ClimateAction

The Clean Fuels Standard (#HB1091) just passed the Washington Senate on 27-20 vote. The bill already passed the House but differences between the respective chambers will need to be reconciled for final passage. #waleg
