Shortly thereafter, the senate passed the Clean Fuels Standard in a 27-20 vote. Sen. Steve Hobbs (44th) was the only Democrat to vote no. The standard would curb transportation emissions (WA's top source) significantly. #HB1091 #ClimateAction

Long a priority for climate advocates, the clean fuels standard came up just short last year. ' victory GOPer Steve O'Ban and Mark Mullet's close call with progressive challenger Ingrid Anderson seems to have been enough to tip the scales.
