Costs are indicated as full life cycle costs, which shows the cost of maintenance over time. This really racks up for the repair option. Car infrastructure is super expensive. #CarCulture

Adding the West Seattle tunnel alone would cost at least $700 million. The whole project a couple billion, IIRC. Doesn't seem so bad when just the bridge span of the West Seattle Freeway costs so much.
