A ferrofluid is just water or some solvent with tiny nanosized iron shavings in it.

It's amazing how often the comments have to correct this account's science. It doesn't "become" magnetized, it's iron doing what iron does. They should really quit stealing content they don't fully understand.

En plus c'est pas bien difficile, faut juste un aimant un peu puissant, et du ferrofluide (qui doit s'acheter en ligne sans problème je pense)

Lou McFadin and I wrote a paper in the 1980's about making angular momentum controller using a fluid with ferromagnetic particles suspended in it. No bearings to wear out. This appears to be better and same can make reconfigurable antennas.
