This was our river, the Widzun Kwa, after the bentonite clay spill from CGL. They told us about it more than a week afterwards. We drink from this river. Our children and elders drink from this river. They watch us 24hrs a day but can't let us know this when it happens?

CGL says that "like our other water crossings at TC Energy, we have had no safety or environmental incidents during construction or operation." The EAO says otherwise. They say CGL has a history of "repeated non-compliance". Pray for the Widzin Kwa.

Security and RCMP have been parked on the other side of the bridge from the Healing Centre since November. They record everything we do. They recorded us, mostly women and children, during our dinner to celebrate the firefighters' success in fighting the Wildfire on our Yintah.

They recorded our elders and children changing out of their rafting gear & swimsuits after a cultural trip down the river. They follow us when we harvest & hunt. They record every visitor. We can't sit at our own Widzin Kwa without being watched by strange men with binoculars.
