This may be the final nail in the coffin for Chinese students choosing to study in Australia. The poor bush fire air quality, doping accusations regarding their national swimming hero, and now this.

The best course of action would be to delay semester 1 start dates and extent semester 2 end dates by at least a fortnight. This will give time for the Chinese students to organise their study. It also reduces discrimination against Chinese students as tensions will cool down
