My heart is bursting. On the eve of my first child's birth, my dad - who's been in prison nearly my entire life - was granted clemency. He never intended harm, yet his crime devastated many families. My heart breaks for the families that can never get their loved ones back.

Who did he dump you on when he was committing his crimes? Or were you in the car also?

Twitter isnt known for nuanced thought-but Chesa Boudin’s mother “dumped” him with a babysitter and went to commit armed robbery. She tricked the officers into dropping their weapons-they were http://slaughtered.It was a bloodbath. Will a son ever be able to process such horror?

I remember the trials well. Gilbert and Boudin were not idealistic 20-somethings. Boudin was 38 years old. Neither have ever expressed remorse. The crime was also not political. They are both extreme sociopaths who killed for the thrill of it - I saw and heard their testimony.

Boudin especially said that she was “bored” at home...she wanted to be a part of things... in the middle of a movement... the politics meant nothing... it was an adrenaline rush. So she dumped her child and went to a massacre.
