Since today is the start of Black History Month, here's a map of the black population of the United States by County. You can definitely spot the outline of the southern "black belt" here that stretches from Louisiana and Arkansas to Virginia.pic.twitter.com/0IXv9NpRbG
There's one county here that kind of sticks out, Forest County, PA. It went from being 2% Black in the 2000 census to over 30% in the 2010 census. What changed? Well, they opened a prison there and that population now counts for the county.

Marion county IN looks like it has almost as large of a black population as lake.... interesting didn’t know that. 
Yeah a dense area of where you're allowed to live surrounded by sundown towns.
