    Brooklyn East Collegiate students are spending their spring break in Alabama, visiting historical sites to learn more about the Civil Rights Movement. They visited Dexter Avenue Baptist Church, where a podium used by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. still stands today.

    Last Saturday, Roxbury Prep students, staff, and families joined the in Boston to protest gun violence in all communities. Roxbury Prep performing arts teacher Mr. Levesque worked with students to create "peace puppets" for the march.
