Boston Game Jam to raise money for disaster relief - people donate directly while we jam - thoughts?
@mroahrig right but I mean it should start locally + add in remote participation because we're all locked inside today and it's maddening

@mroahrig the time and effort it takes to do something like that would really delay the actual funding getting in though -

@ZoeQuinnzel Jame makes games. People buy games bundle from jam. 100% of money goes to area hospitals. -
@mroahrig No one pays for jam games though (there's a p big stigma against them). I was thinking more like a walkathon with livestreams -
@ZoeQuinnzel Why would there ever be a stigma against donating money and getting games in return? -
@mroahrig they're not "worth" paying for in a lot of people's eyes so making receiving the games be the point seems like a bad idea.
