@ZoeQuinnzel Selectable genders shouldn't always be expected, but having it as a stretch goal makes it seem like a pandering afterthought.

@MattDementous but if it's a game where that would make sense why not build it into the original asking price of the KS?

@ZoeQuinnzel If it's part of a game that makes sense for it, it should be included or excluded. Either is better than being a stretch goal.

@ZoeQuinnzel I can see why providing that choice might require a budget threshold... but it's also a choice I'd like to see in more games.

@ZoeQuinnzel Doubled art assets for the single most complicated character, doubled QA effort... "don't cost *that* much" is relative.

@ZoeQuinnzel It's added complexity. How much complexity it is depends on the individual game and approach taken.

@ZoeQuinnzel But there's no excuse for requiring DOUBLE your initial budget to include it as a feature.
