not gonna lie though, gamedev-wannabe kids; your games will find many ways to break your heart, but they still love you. never forget it! :)
@edgeblend That I haven't figured out how to do because passing variables between the html and twine's guts isn't something I've messed with

@ZoeQuinnzel I tried a way that involved bolting-on a hidden youtube player but couldn't get the control over it I needed. -
@edgeblend yeah the control part is neigh impossible without coding something yourself -
@ZoeQuinnzel I think I'll have to mothball my 'project' until someone else figures this (or something similar) out and posts the code. -
@edgeblend yeah fair enough. Sorry I couldn't help more!

@ZoeQuinnzel@edgeblend http://gritfish.net/blog/tin-cans.html … the macro on this page just passes a letter through to a non-twine js function in the HTML. -
@gritfish@edgeblend this is really rad, thank you

@ZoeQuinnzel That's a shame, Id love to make a twine sci-fantasy roguelike that relies heavily on music and sound for atmosphere... -
@edgeblend the best workaround I could find is embedding a track into the sidebar with html and layering tracks on top in the twine nodes
