@TronKnotts @ZoeQuinnzel We often forget that we started as gamer nobodies. We form our little clubs often separating us from them.
@OfGloriousLife Yeah, I think that threats in comments sections are essentially the epitome of "thank you for wasting my time"

@ZoeQuinnzel I'd argue it's more of a waste of their time than anything. It take less effort to toss away a turd than to push one out. -
@OfGloriousLife Still wastes my time too though. -
@ZoeQuinnzel At least it's a short waste. I've read "professional" commentary that was the equivalent of a sewage runoff plant. -
@OfGloriousLife Yeah, that's why I'm careful about who I listen to and seek a LOT of feedback. Something Awful has been great for that. -
@ZoeQuinnzel Kind of fortunate that, at least with professionals, we're provided prior examples of the potential value of their feedback. -
@OfGloriousLife I'll listen to anyone who is civil honestly, with varying degrees of taking shit to heart.

@ZoeQuinnzel@OfGloriousLife When I first started getting threats I actually felt good about myself -
@FlameDragon_@OfGloriousLife I've had some relatively creepy ones including a map carved into someone's back of where I'd lived -
@ZoeQuinnzel@OfGloriousLife Thats pretty creepy. But I had a derranged man hand me a piece of paper at the library once. he never spoke
