@ZoeQuinnzel game critics don't seem to feel that same need. They seem to take for granted their position or the importance criticism plays.

@ZoeQuinnzel The other thing is how much of an emphasis the score to a review is given. The substance of the writing is undermined imo.

@nathandonarum critics have different ones. But half the time it feels like advertising more than criticism.

@ZoeQuinnzel Too much of the writing sounds like a sales pitch. And focused on whether it's good or bad, not the why.

@nathandonarum as to why they thought this thing and that thing, then it's useless.

@ZoeQuinnzel video games be considered an art form, their writing doesn't at all support that idea. Which is unfortunate.
