Vampire: Bloodlines was 2004 as all get out but had some really neat ideas and is still one of my favorite RPGs.

@ZoeQuinnzel Bloodlines was brilliant. So many mistakes and problems, but... the characters! Non-combat options! Talking to stop signs!
@derElbi I KNOW!! It was exceptional at the role playing elements, meh about everything else (which was secondary anyway)

@ZoeQuinnzel Yup. Remove the lol!insane Malks (not Malks per se!) & the out of place nudity... it might be the best role-playing game ever. -
@derElbi oh dear I forgot about the random nudity. Malks are tricky - I knew a GM that wouldn't let players roll one lest they go all zany -
@ZoeQuinnzel Malks are a pain, yeah. But then, the whole derangement mechanic was/is. Many pitfalls & "OMG YOU'RE THAT KIND OF PERSON"s.
