Games have characters. When we talk about plot in games we usually mean character development. But maybe the characters are often… shallow?

@d6@ZoeQuinnzel Interestingly though thinking about it, even in Maniac Mansion I think the villains are more well fleshed than protagonists
@mcclure111 @d6 what about persona 4? The social link mechanic was basically all about character development (though kinda flat at times)

@d6@mcclure111 as long as you don't have a huge hatred of jrpgs then definitely. It's the best jrpg I've played.
