@ZoeQuinnzel That is actually a very sensible doubt, and it's kind of refreshing to hear someone express it publicly.
I'm not saying that these are rational things, and it's stuff I'm mostly over, but that worry still is there in the back of my mind.

@azurenimbus I just don't ever want to be a novelty -
@ZoeQuinnzel I think that if you're ever a novelty, it shouldn't matter in the long run. Only your work will, you know? -
@azurenimbus Here's hoping! -
@ZoeQuinnzel In any case, it's your first commercial game, which in itself is great. Allow yourself to take credit for your hard work.

@ZoeQuinnzel Sorry you have to deal with so much BS. Can't wait to pay for your game! Are you releasing Cupid or Depression Quest? -
@indiegamehunt DQ should be out soon! Ideally this month!

@ZoeQuinnzel While I think it's undeniable that women get a certain deal of extra attention, I think sales aren't really influenced by that. -
@azurenimbus it's not always GOOD attention either - I get threats and creeps every time I publish anything -
@ZoeQuinnzel Yes... Just being in a community overwhelmingly dominated by people of a different gender takes a lot of fucking courage.
