        @ZoeQuinnzel The big obstacle is going to be making the custom LCD screen. I think everything else could be done with an Arduino.

        @ZoeQuinnzel It'd work, but it wouldn't be quite the same. You'd lose the "hovering above the background" effect of the Tiger LCD displays.

        @ZoeQuinnzel The layer mask would work, but it'd look different from Tiger games, and it'd be limiting design-wise, if I'm following right.

        @ZoeQuinnzel Hmm....create a set of 3x3 LEDs. Put a mask on top, which only lets part of light in a shape through. Create Arduino for rest

        @ZoeQuinnzel Should be pretty straight forward. A bunch of preplaced sprites that toggle on/off and sets of toggles representing a state.
