What hardware/boards are you using in the image? Also, is that the wifi card slot you’re pulling memory from?

I’ve heard that most recent ThinkPads has some measures against pre-boot DMA attacks. However, it’s difficult to mitigate this attack vector completely as long as we don’t have yet any standardized ways to transfer IOMMU configuration between firmware and OS

Yes, I have to try to get hold of a recent Tinkpad. I wanted to test the (lack of) UEFI/OS VT-d handover w/ my new fpga bitstream. I was just assuming other vendors to have added UEFI DMA protections as well... I was not expecting this.
