This #PrideMonth, we remember the Africans who paved the way for gay liberation. The struggle of white LGBTQIA folks for rights & equality was sparked by the Black Revolution of the 60s: when it was destroyed, those of us in the LGBTQ community abandoned the black community. 1/2
