I've read a rumor that on http://battle.net in FFA, purple color is always given to the hypothetically highest ranked player.
Is that true @FFAMasterLeague @FaerieDrake ? I often find purple being the toughest opponent indeed (and i sometimes get the color myself !)

It's not, but there is definitely some sort of correlation because the amount of times that the strongest player is purple is way above the statistical norm, but it's not an every time thing. Good discussion on it can be found in this reddit thread:https://bit.ly/2VSRjf7
