I had the same question as you. I was told it was a part of the agreement that he wouldn't participate in *any* events.

that's a very big (and unreasonable) thing to ask for tho. compare it to the ban b2w gave terror: they asked other organizers to also ban him, not terror to not sign up to other events.

And that is what is being done now given that he removed his self imposed ban. I'm not sure where the confusion is or how anyone can even defend swordpuppy on this.

To be clear, it's not defending stream sniping but asking what is the link between the dust ban and the registration to ESL apparent issue If the ban was self imposed only (kinda awkward but why not) I guess only himself could lift this "selfban" decision. (...)

Even razzorman has been unbanned after a year following way more serious offenses... Same goes for Blade, both earned money through organized / elaborated cheating So a "forever" ban looks to me as "over the top" and emotional as a "self imposed banned"

The forever ban was for dust events only. It was originally 6 months and he only changed it due to SP trying to hide what happened by going back on his self imposed ban and deleting the post.

Maybe its excessive, but at the end of the day its Bidoux who is putting the time and effort into organizing the event. Too many ppl trash on the ppl putting their own time into providing tournaments and content for ppl. How about we trash on the shit heads and cheaters?

And to clarify, sp is very nice and i like him a lot so it sucks. Hes certainly not a shit head, but he did cheat in the tournament.

I just don't like the fact that you changed the punishment, just because he signed up for a different tournament. It's fine to give him whatever ban you feel reasonable and to inform the other TO's of his cheating, but changing the ban due to him signing up somewhere else stinks.
