My idea is that there is so much respect for TH000 in China that local players play with the handbreak on, not fully going with the needed pressure. Pretty much like what happens with Moon and Korean players.

I'd argue that the sample size is pretty small if we're only talking about two European players here. Foggy's repeated success in those offline events still feels more surprising to me than Happy's victory now.

There might be a reason that TH played against other Chinese/Korean players and he knew their weakness. When playing in WGL, TH planed his strategies targeting these weakness timing. However, he played less with European players and know less about European player.
