I never followed a WCG Qualifiers before. I have to admit that this "two representatives per nation" rule is bringing some new flavors.
It is not unpleasant to see new names, especially from some countries that I felt were dead for WC3 such as

I'm quite unsatisfied with the fact that Foggy and Sonik were in the same quarters (!!) and the vice world champion (from WGL) is out in an unseeded Bo1 tournament. Same for HawK and Cash. Now this, despite being pretty crappy, is not even close to the situation in the APAC group

... where Lyn and Moon also couldn't both qualify since they were in the same half. With all due respect to the underdogs in these tournaments, I would very gladly avoid these rules where being from a certain country gives you a much, much easier way through.
