Today the @sfchronicle releases this piece but sadly it comes after 6+ million shares by white affluent citizens of San Francisco who made shoplifting a “viral problem” and used it as a tool to attack SF DA @chesaboudin.https://www.sfchronicle.com/crime/article/Is-shoplifting-rising-in-San-Francisco-Here-s-16272907.php …

Data shows that Shoplifting is in fact down in Sam Francisco. It’s currently pacing to be lower than pre pandemic levels.

It’s important to clarify though (something that [redacted] always fails to do with these things because she really doesn’t care to solve the issue. Just likes to tweet complaints and disdain for
@chesaboudin): This is more than likely because of the pandemic. Stores were closed1 reply 0 retweets 1 likeShow this thread -

Demian BulwaVerified account @demianbulwaYou saw the viral video. But has San Francisco seen a surge in shoplifting? Though the city remains one of the nation's property crime capitals, SFPD data analyzed by@susieneilson suggests these reports may be overblown. https://www.sfchronicle.com/crime/article/Is-shoplifting-rising-in-San-Francisco-Here-s-16272907.php?utm_campaign=CMS%20Sharing%20Tools%20(Premium)&utm_source=t.co&utm_medium=referral …0 replies 0 retweets 0 likesShow this threadThanks.
