You could curb the opiate epidemic if you made it criminal for a Dr to throw pain patients off their meds without a reasonable taper. Never should a patent that has been prescribed Opiates for years be cut off meds with out a taper! And leave Kratom alone!

This war on opioids KILLS addicts. Making reliably manufactured drugs less accessible and driving them to use illicit fentanyl (unknown potency) is a childishly foolish approach. Also, injured vets/elderly/disabled/chronic pain are committing suicide. @SGottliebFDA

Opioids aren't very addictive. They're deadly when someone doesn't know the potency, however. But we have the ability to manufacture reliably potent opioids for people who aren't helped by cannabis. We also have insane leaders who make drugs INaccessible.

I'm a simple layman. No medical degree or fancy education, and even I know at least a partial answer to the "issues" you face. STOP INTERFERING WITH SAFE PRESCRIBING IN CLINICAL SETTINGS! The data doesn't lie. Look at West Va. if you need a real world example!

Why should I have to stop using medication that MY VERY EDUCATED SPECIALIST has deemed necessary to treat my intractable conditions? Prior to proper pain control, I was bedridden. I just recently graduated college & landed my dream job. #patientsnotaddicts
Not to mention I can be the mom I always dreamed of being, the wife my husband always dreamed of having, living the life I always dreamed of living. #shareourpain

Sorry , but punishing innocent pain patients by taking away meds or forcing us to take things that are more dangerous and don’t work WONT STOP the heroin crisis
