Each PhD admissions season, the number of emails I get from aspiring PhD students that mention my physical appearance is not zero.... and I guess I’m not really sure what to say about this other than that it really seems like it should be zero.

Compute marginal effects and estimated marginal means in : () update on CRAN! What's new? E.g. new models supported, better handling when adding data points to plots, nicer print-method! Effects plots for many different models made easy!

Anyone have a good reference discussing the balance between content validity and model fit? I'm arguing for the need to retain items in EFA / ESEM despite trivial cross loading because content validity matters. Anyone? I recall you 'meme'ing this lately?

On a medium timeline I believe solid training in mixed methods (qualitative and quantitative) will become a highly valued skill as big data starts to realize how much and how quickly you can learn things by first simply talking to the people you are studying.

tip: you can use file.path on URLs too, to tidy up long ones by line splitting: URL ="" --> URL = file.path( "", "presto-hive/src/main/java/com/facebook/presto", "hive/parquet/ParquetTimestampUtils.java" )

If non-experts design studies to test a vaguely specified verbal hypothesis using non-validated measures they find different effect sizes. What else did anyone expect? Can anyone explain to me why this is a landmark study (or why this was worth the substantial investment)?

I used to really love cheeky titles, but after working on systematic review lit searches, I'm anti. It helps us include your article in a review it is contains relevant terms in the title. Important fields that authors control: title, abstract, author provided keywords.
