    On this International Day for Women & Girls in Science, we are reminded that we must all do more to support women & girls in their pursuit of careers in science and technology.  When they are full, equal & meaningful participants in the global economy, we are all better for it.

    The Administration is committed to advancing gender equity, including by promoting Women & Girls in Science to close the gender gap in STEM fields. Women & girl’s full, equal & meaningful participation in social, economic & political life is essential to a strong democracy.
