I plan to stay with my Union! May not agree with everything but they were a voice when I didn’t have one. You all got this wrong

Got it wrong? How? You said you will stay with your union, that's your CHOICE!!! Others who do NOT want to join a union, should NOT be forced to subsidize it. Unions are political as hell. Its outrageous that you d force people to fund it.

Bet you won’t opt out of those benefits the union has afforded you! Like I said, I’m choosing to stick with mine. If you choose to drop, you STILL reap the benefits... on my dime! Ur welcome!

So now unions get to work for free. So does this mean state will no longer enforce the Duty of Fair Representation?

The court says that the duty is a responsibility arising from the privilege of being the exclusive representative. “And their duty of fair representation is a necessary concomitant of the authority that a union seeks when it chooses to be the exclusive representative.”

Sounds like a super efficient way to eliminate the last struggling union presence we have in this country.

A sad day. “The majority has overruled Abood for no exceptional or special reason, but because it never liked the decision. It has overruled…because it wanted to. Because…it wanted to pick the winning side in what should be—and until now, has been—an energetic policy debate.”

Every ruling made this past week screws the American people. The 5 of you who stuck together SHOULD be ashamed. We need term limits as this President does not have the mental capacity to choose.

Wow, first amendment rights are being used by the court like a wedge to divide the collective power of citizens. Seems the only way to have a collective voice nowadays is to incorporate.

I was an employee who was expected to pay union dues. I disagreed with the union on many issues however I felt that it was important for the greater good to continue in the union. I understand the constitution but there are times we need to think for others.....

...I'm not sure if your decision was right or wrong. Time will tell. However if this allows companies to eradicate unions the Republican party has given one more benefit to the wealthy. Will democracy suffer?
