The logistics to operate a ship while in a floating dry dock makes the mission about 10x’s more difficult. Temporary power cables, potable water, sewer lines, gray water disposal, toilet pressures, fire main supply, HVAC stations. Then you have limited access to gangways.

It seems possible (likely) that
#coronavirus will make its way into the ship. Maybe the plan should be the other way around?? -
From my understanding these vessels are not designed to handle infectious disease due to them being converted oil tankers. They are meant to handle mostly trauma

It would have been great if you received your orders 2 months ago, when we knew the pandemic was inevitable. Then instead of "preparing" to deploy, you could have been on location, providing life saving assistance. Certainly not your fault, you were just waiting for orders.
