    The Holocaust showed us the worst of humanity. We must show the best and make it clear that will we let such a crime take place. We can the millions who were murdered and in their honor, build a more accepting world where anti-Semitism never resurfaces.

    I’d ask that each of us take a moment today to consider not just the malevolence the survivors overcame, but the goodness and strength that carried them through. They can teach us, both in memory and testimony, and today is a time to consider their teachings anew.
