I was talking to my son's day-care provider this morning, who also cleans houses for senior shut-ins. She says the gov't-provided 'care' for those same shut-ins is so embarrassingly lacking in the recognition of these people's dignity. 1/?

I know you're talking about care for workers, not workers' lack of care, but I think they're all related. We were told that the market finds a solution for every need, but it ended up nurturing 'service provision' and letting 'care' wither. It's all part of the same culture. 2/?
